Just got an e-mail from the environmetal rangers which i just join, cos hui min and nadz are there too ..[Dear students PROFESSOR LEO TAN "DISTINGUISHED FRIEND OF NGEE ANN" We are pleased to invite you to join Ngee Ann Polytechnic in presenting the "Distinguished Friend of Ngee Ann" Award to Professor Leo Tan Wee Hin, Director of the National Institute of Education (NIE). The Award Ceremony will be held on: Date : 4 July 2006 (Tuesday) 5.45 pm - 7.45 pm Venue : LT26, followed by a special dinner at the Green Mall Dress-code : Smart casual - i.e. with shoes, collared-shirt or collared-T-shirt[Please arrive by 5.30 pm and be seated by 5.45 pm] Green Mall?? Where the hell is Green Mall in Ngee Ann.. and must wear collared-shirt or collared t-shirt?? WHF!!! The Award is in appreciation of Professor Tan's valued contributions to Ngee Ann Polytechnic. For over 20 years, Ngee Ann Polytechnic has benefited tremendously from Professor Tan's experience and vision. This has helped us to transform our institution to what it is today. As a member of our Polytechnic's Council and Chairman of the Biotechnology Advisory Committee, Professor Tan has made significant contributions that have helped the Polytechnic to remain ahead as a quality institution of higher learning. Professor Tan has a distinguished career of more than 30 years that covers biology, museology, education and administration. He has played critical leadership roles in many organizations, including as the Chairman of the National Parks Board and the National Youth Achievement Award Council, a Member of the Nanyang Technological University Council and President of the Singapore National Academy of Science. We are heartened that the first recipient of the "Distinguished Friend of Ngee Ann", Professor Sir Gareth Roberts, President of Wolfson College, Oxford University, will also be present as a special guest at the ceremony. The evening programme promises to be engaging and heartwarming. Ngee Ann would be very pleased if you could join us at the Award Ceremony followed by a special dinner reception at the newly renovated Green Mall. Is the Mall made of green colour so it call 'Green Mall'????? LOL Wtf Wtf ... Argentina lost to Germany on penalties shoot?????? Germany was just lucky to score in the 80th min ... Argh, there goes my another supporting team... and great, now i left with England, which by the way they play now, i doubt they can even beat Portugal.... WTH!!!! |
